Make Your Moment Everlasting
About Me
Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
My name is Ali Akbar Sadeqi. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Film Directing and am a proud graduate of film school, where my journey into the world of visual storytelling began. Over the years, I have worked with leading international television networks, gaining extensive experience in media production, directing, editing, and cinematography. These years of hands-on work in fast-paced, high-standard environments shaped my understanding of storytelling, lighting, composition, and emotional impact.
Building on this foundation, I launched my own production company — Video Art Productions — with a mission to bring cinematic quality to commercial content, music videos, and, most passionately, to wedding films. Transitioning into the wedding industry felt natural; I found deep purpose in capturing real love stories with the same level of care, creativity, and technical excellence used in film and television. My goal has always been to go beyond traditional wedding videography and photography — to craft visually stunning, emotionally resonant films that couples will treasure for a lifetime.
At the heart of my business is a dedicated, professional team of filmmakers, photographers, and editors — all of whom are formally trained in film and media production. Each team member brings a unique creative eye and years of experience to every project we take on. Together, we approach every wedding as a collaborative work of art, combining documentary-style authenticity with cinematic style and precision.
Throughout my career, I’ve been honored with several recognitions, including a nomination for Best Film at the 2018 Toronto 48 Hour Film Project and an award for Best Editor from ATN in 2006. These accolades reflect my commitment to excellence and continuous growth in the visual arts.
Whether it's a wedding, a commercial, or a music video, our team at Video Art Productions is passionate about telling stories that matter — beautifully, creatively, and authentically.
